I grew up in Adams County on a small, diversified farm. I graduated from Wilmington College with a Bachelor of Science and a Fine Arts degree. I joined the Adams County Farm Bureau Board of Directors in the Fall of 2017. I married my high school sweetheart, Jason, 13 years ago and we have four young and active children. We spend most of our time in the great outdoors on our farm in Adams County. We currently have 15 hives of bees and process honey in the Spring and summer.

I am an Adams County native, having graduated as Valedictorian from the new Manchester High School in 1998. I went on to complete my Bachelor’s from Shawnee State University and then an MBA from Xavier University. I am involved in most things business, having just completed my term as the Vice President of the Adams County Chamber of Commerce, a long time junior Achievement Instructor for the North Adams Schools and a part-time Business and Entrepreneurship Adjunct Instructor for Southern State Community College. In my free time, I am usually on the sidelines of a court, field or pool cheering on my little daredevil Colton Wayne in all things sports.

I was born and raised a Buckeye and graduated from The Ohio State University in Animal Science. I enjoy showing my German Shepherd dog, Tank, and handling for other breeders from all across the country, which has been a passion of mine since the age of 9. Through my participation in 4-H and FFA, I was selected as the 2011 Ohio Fairs’ Queen and visited all 95 fairs in the state during one summer. I take advantage of any opportunity to give back to these organizations, which ultimately led to my career as a Farm Sales Specialist with Paul Hall & Associates.

I joined Paul Hall and Associates as a high school student back in 2004. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, I moved into a sales associate position. Outside of insurance, you will likely find me behind the wheel of a firetruck or a tractor. I also serve as a member to several local organizations, including, Brown County Pork Producers Association, Brown County Farm Bureau and Brown County Senior Fairboard. When I am not working or volunteering, I love to travel with my wife, Lori.

Growing up I was either on a ball field, basketball court, or sitting in a tree stand. By the time high school was over I had offers to play division 1 baseball, division 1 football, or division 2 basketball. I had several offers to play two sports. Life however had different plans for me. I was drafted by the Atlanta Braves after my sophomore year of college, at the same time my wife was expecting our second child. I knew that came with great responsibility. Traveling the country playing baseball or raising a family. To me it was a no-brainer, raise a family. I put my head down and went to work for the next 20 years. I'm proud to say I'm still married to my high school sweetheart, Dena. Ashleigh is now a junior in college and my son Brandon is doing well living in Milford. I now work with Paul Hall and associate's as property caretaker given me the chance to travel, watching my daughter play college soccer.

I worked at Proctor & Gamble for 30 years. While there, I worked in the bar soap division for 15 years and I have 2 patents on bars; one for Ivory Moisture Care Bar and one for Oil of Olay Bar. I recently started a youth football organization and currently have about 85 active players. I judge livestock shows all over the U.S. and have judged in about 25 states.

I moved to Adams County when I was 5 and lived here most of my life. I started working for my Mom, Kay Wilson Grooms, at Wilson’s Insurance Agency in 1989. This was a family owned business my grandfather Keith Wilson started in 1952. In January of 2000, with my business partner Jackie A Fite, we purchased the Agency. We had a very successful 16 years. In November 2016, we sold to Paul Hall & Associates. I married my best friend Ray in 2001. We have 4 children and 6 grandchildren and in December 2019 we will have our 7th grandchild. We also have a Boston Terrier named Indy Girl. In our spare time my husband and I enjoy riding Harley’s, 4 wheelers, boating and camping.

I graduated in 1998 from Blanchester High School. My husband Carl and I have been together since March 2000 and married since August 2007. We have a daughter, Mahayla, and a son, Brennan who are both grown and starting their own lives. I grew up in Blanchester and still reside there. I am a lover of all animals and enjoy being outdoors. We currently have 5 dogs (3 belong to my daughter) and 4 cats. We enjoy camping, fishing, and mushroom hunting. We also enjoy hiking and traveling any chance we get with our German Shephard, Ruger.
I made the career change to Insurance in 2014 and became licensed in Property & Casualty and Life Insurance and I am looking forward to a great career here at Paul Hall & Associates.

I was raised in Brown County, where I am entering my senior year at Western Brown High School. I have been actively involved in FFA and 4-H throughout my life. I currently serve as Secretary of my FFA chapter and as the Vice President of my 4-H club, through which I have shown Swine Production projects at the county fair. Through FFA and 4-H I have developed an inborn fondness for agriculture, which has inspired me to further my education in Business & Communications. In my spare time you will find me with friends & family or helping on my family farm.

I am a lifelong resident of Adams County. I graduated from North Adams High School with honors, I have continued on and am now attending Maysville Community College to obtain my Associates Degree. I raise chickens and rabbits. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends riding and showing horses. When I am not riding I enjoy spending time with my fur baby, Mia. Some of my favorite things about horses is the opportunity to meet new people along the way.

I was raised to bleed blue for UK, but ended up as an Ohio State Buckeye! I still enjoy going back to Columbus to support my Buckeyes whenever I have a chance. I am now back home writing insurance and doing marketing for the agency. Working with my dad has truly been a blessing. I was married in August of 2016 to my best friend, Andrew Stroud. We welcomed our daughter, Emily, into our family in August of 2018. I grew up very active in 4-H and FFA, and even served as a State FFA Officer. Those organizations did so much for me, so I like to now give back by helping judge FFA and 4-H speaking contests as well as help prepare members for contests.

Growing up, my parents raised my four siblings and me to be involved in our church, St. Mary in Arnheim, and the activities in our local American Legion Post 755 in Sardinia. They worked to instill a service mentality that has resonated through my life. This has served me well as I get to do what I do best – serve our members at Paul Hall & Associates. These days at church I am a greeter and an altar server, and I’m a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxillary. My hobbies include scrapbooking and photography.

After attending the University of Kentucky and serving as State 4-H President as a sophomore, everyone thought I would work in Kentucky Agriculture. The Ohio Farm Bureau made me a great offer to join them in Ohio and so I jumped the river. After ten great years in which I helped start Ohio's first Ethanol plant in SouthPoint, worked on the election committee to fix the Workers Comp issue and helped my counties grow by thousands of members, I joined Farm Bureau's daughter, Nationwide Insurance. Since 1988, I have been an agent working to serve rural Ohio and Kentucky. I have worked to build an agency of staff that is committed to serving and giving back. My dad taught me that " If you are going to talk the talk make sure you walk the walk." My commitment to you is that we will build the right program for you and then be there to serve you.
On the personal side, I married Jill, my sweetheart, in 1980 and we have three daughters. Caroline has her own agency in Harrison Ohio, Anna returned home in 2012 to run our Georgetown office and serve as our communications specialist, and Rebecca is an Optometrist in Lexington. I am also now a grandpa to our first granddaughter, Lacey. I have served on Southern State College Board(Chair), Kentucky 4-H Foundation(chair), Brown County Republican Party(Chair) Georgetown Church of Christ Board(Deacon), Brown County Board of Elections, Brown County Criminal Task Force(Chair) and Hospice of Hope Board.
