He also received numerous awards for customer service and community involvement. Nearly every year he is recognized as a Champion Agent, which is an agent in the top five percent of the nation. Numerous times he has been selected as a Presidential Agent, which is an agent in the top two percent.

Each year Nationwide reviews the activities and service their agents provide to the community they are individually located within. Nationwide then picks one agent from across the nation who they feel provided the best community service. In 2008 Paul was selected as the Corporate Service Agent of the Year.
