About Paul

ABOUT PAUL HALL

Paul is very family oriented. He has been married to his wife Jill for more than 25 years. They have three daughters; Caroline, Anna and Rebecca. Caroline graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2008, married Sam Hennig in 2009, and is currently living in Brown County. Anna is a student at The Ohio State University, majoring in Food Science and Nutrition. Rebecca is a student at the University of Kentucky, majoring in Agricultural Bio-Technology and Pre-Optometry.

Community involvement is extremely important to Paul, and he is involved with the local community in many different aspects. Among these aspects, Paul is active with his church, where he headed up the "God is Able" campaign to raise money for the church to build a community life center on to the current church building. This building allowed the church to add a fellowship hall and a gymnasium which is not only used to serve the church members, but the community at large. Paul also headed up the "Great Day of Service", where the church came together to work in the local community doing things such as maintenance on homes of the elderly. Paul is active in politics, and is active in many political campaigns. While wearing his political hat, he was crucial in bringing Abraham Lincoln in for the Lincoln Day Bicentennial Celebration. Paul has served as a 4-H advisor and volunteer for numerous years, and helps his 4-H students put together floats for the county fair parade, as well as teaching the 4-H members how to handle and care for their animals both at home and at the fair. Paul's service to both 4-H and FFA members brings the rural community closer together, but more importantly, it instills confidence and pride in the student members. In fact, Paul was award a State Honorary Degree for his service to FFA students. Paul also sponsors numerous teams and events within the local community. Whether it be a sports team or a golf scramble, the community has come to see Paul as a supporter of the community.

Paul serves on many committees within the local community. Paul serves as the Director of Evangelism and Shepherding at the Georgetown Church of Christ. He also serves as the chairman of the Republican central committee. Paul serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Southern State Community College. He also serves on the Board for the Kentucky Friends of 4-H Foundation. In addition, Paul serves on the Mercy Hospital Board.
